The latest build: 7600 of Windows 7 has been complete and validated. So Windows 7 has now been released to manufacturing.

So Windows 7 is officially complete and will ship out to various manufacturers in the next few days. This is all in planning for the official release date of October 22nd. So far, Windows 7 has been an impressive OS and you can still download the RC from the Microsoft website. The free download runs until mid next year, but be quick, it won’t be available for long.
