As you all know Firefox 3.5 was released not too long ago and its a pretty decent browser, with excellent performance.

So what’s next for Firefox? Well the planned releases are Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 3.7. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the plan is to get 3.6 out by fall of this year and then 3.7 sometime next year.

You probably won’t be seeing a great deal of changes in Firefox 3.6, as the plan is for a minor update. It will be based on Gecko 1.9.2. Firefox 3.7 is expected to have a redesign of the graphical user interface and should work better with the Windows platform, especially Windows 7.
