You will need to open msconfig for this tweak.

• Start -> Run, then type in “msconfig”
• Under the boot tab, simply check the box “/NOGUIBOOT”

This instructs Windows not to initialize the VGA video driver responsible for presenting bitmapped graphics during the boot process. This has the effect of disabling the splash screen during boot time. It should also speed up the boot process a bit. You can undo this anytime by unchecking the “/NOGUIBOOT” box.
