The latest build of WIndows 7 – Build 7127 has gone live. This is available from the Microsoft Connect website, but it is only available by invitation. However, if you have been one of the lucky testers, then this would be a worthwhile download.

There will be no additional development milestone between the RC and the RTM releases, there will only be interim builds to prepare the platform for general availability. Since the RC is done, Microsoft is now testing it heavily with partners and users to determine the quality of the product. No additional features or functionality will be added to the RC.

If you haven’t yet tested Windows 7, we recommend you give it a try. So far it does look to be a promising new OS.
