Well, actually the title should read, No Windows 7 Custom Boot Screen.
Basically in Windows 7, users will not be able to affect the boot sequence or graphics in Windows 7. So the Windows logo you see in Windows 7 is what you will get, and you will have to live with it. Although I am sure someone will find a way to hack this.

Of course there will be plenty of personalization options after the boot process is complete. There will in fact be many options for customizing the GUI, desktop, themes and much more.
The main reason for not allowing customization of the boot logo is to do with security. Microsoft doesn’t want to allow anything non-standard to be loaded into memory at boot time. They want to keep this locked down as it is a crucial time. So thats not a bad thing. I would rather see Microsoft making a strong commitment to better security than allowing minor customizations for the end user.
