The gaming experience in Windows Live Messenger has just gotten a hell of a lot better. Gaming within Live Messenger will now leverage many of the social aspects of the Live network. It will now be much easier to find games to play, share your scores and to find out what your friends like to play.

There is also a new game browser that allows you to see what a game is like before you decide to play it.

When you finish playing a game it will be possible to publish the scores to your profile. Your friends can then view the scores and even challenge you to a game, or you can view your friends profiles and try to beat their scores.

There are now over 30 games available and you can play against anyone, anywhere in the world. If you haven’t already done so, download the new Messenger Beta Client – download.live.com
