YouTube has just announced (and released) a bigger video player! Who says bigger isnt better? Of course it is.

The new YouTube player has gone to widescreen providing a 16:9 ratio. But don’t worry, the older 4:3 ratio videos will play just fine in the new player. The new player brings the page width of YouTube to 960pixels wide.

I have just been checking out some videos in the new widescreen format and it’s pretty cool. Definitely a nice improvement from YouTube. Take a look!
