I must admit I am one of those persons that has so many items on my desktop that i barely have any free space at all! It does get a bit annoying some times so it is good to see that Windows Vista has a quick little tool that lets you completely clear your desktop of all items in just seconds.

To clear your desktop of all icons just do this;

• Right click on your desktop
• Select view
• Select show desktop icons
• Your icons will now disappear

You can just as easily bring all your icons back on your desktop by doing the same again.
